The Brief:
The client had lots of ideas for this galley kitchen. They wanted to create a stylish, warm, homely yet practical space. They knew the key features they wanted which were a great starting point for discussions and agreeing a design. The client wanted a range cooker, a large, smart, free standing fridge freezer and an eating area that could seat family and friends. Our designers worked with the client to create the perfect design with these at the heart of it.
The Solution:
Fine Finish Kitchens designed and manufactured a totally bespoke kitchen. The kitchen is a quality framed kitchen with charcoal base units and alabaster top units with solid oak, full stave worktops.
Key Design Features:
Tall wall units were fitted to maximise cupboard space in the kitchen. A bank of draws was used in the base units, for storage to meet the customer’s needs and to add to the look of the kitchen. Curves add soft lines and create a wow factor.
Lighting: LED lighting was fitted to the top and the bottom of the units, the colour changing lights are remote controlled, and they add interest and give a soft warm glow to the kitchen.
Top Tip:
If you are having units about your sink consider a shorter unit to make sure you have plenty of room to fill your kettle etc. This customer chose to have a shorter, unit with glass doors and lights inside, it looks great, adds interest and makes sure there is plenty of space below.
