The Brief

This kitchen was designed, manufactured and installed as part of a cottage renovation and out house conversion. The customer created a large, light, airy space, which they wanted to utilise as a multi functional family kitchen/dining space that would adapt with the changing needs of their young, growing family. They wanted to maintain the traditional elements of the old cottage with a contemporary twist and all mod cons kitchen.

The Solution

The customer choose the Bradmoor kitchen door for its clean lines, they then choose the on trend contrasting colours of slate grey and porcelain. Using slate grey for all the base and wall units and porcelain for the island coupled with Corian worktops and up stand. The Corian worktop matches the island and contrasts beautifully with the slate grey units.

Elements of natural oak where incorporated into the kitchen, with the breakfast bar and open shelving fitted to one corner.

Design Features

Incorporating elements of oak into the kitchen helps to make the space flow and brings the traditional and contemporary elements together.

Corian is a durable material that can be fitted with no visible joints to give a seamless and sleek appearance; the splashback behind sink is also Corian.
