The Brief
This lovely couple from Edwalton, Nottingham wanted to upgrade their guest bedroom. The existing bedroom had built in wardrobes and cupboards built around the headboard of the bed. Not only is this style dated they were also finding the cupboards difficult to access. They wanted to remove the units around the bed and have a more up to date, fresh, bright and clean guest room.
The Solution
The customer chose Kindred furniture, the Chapter range in Porcelain colour. This range is versatile, timeless, elegant and practical. They choose a fitted triple robe; two bedside cabinets and a bespoke built dressing table/TV stand with two large and two small drawers. The customer opted for matching unit tops; the tops are also available in contrasting oak finish. The robes are fitted out with a combination of shelving, hanging space and drawers. The drawers and cupboard handles are Pewter by Kindred.
Design Features
Often we install a full wall of wardrobes, the customer didn’t want this they wanted to give the room a sense of space and depth.
Top Tips
We all see photographs of stunning, huge bedrooms on Instagram and Pinterest etc however; in reality lots of our bedrooms aren’t that shape or size. With fitted wardrobes units can be designed for any shape of space; unusual shapes, alcoves etc.
Designing wardrobes and chests around the focal window allows for maximum storage in a smaller room without overwhelming the space.
There is range of handles and door furniture, in different styles and finishes that can totally change your look. We offer a range of internal storage solutions that can be customised to individual needs.
