The Brief:
A fully built in fitted bedroom solution, with lots of storage for a master bedroom in a modern family home, plus matching bedside cabinets and dressing table.
The Solution:
We fitted five Stone, Kindred Chapter double wardrobes including a corner unit. The wardrobes have a range of internal fit outs including shelving, full length and half height hanging space plus an external mirror.
The Chapter range of furniture is a twist on the classic Shaker style, the simple profile, ornate beading and soft neutral colour, stone in this case creates an elegant, modern interior with bags of effortless storage.
The dressing table and bedside cabinets are also in stone and match the wardrobes perfectly. The customer choose contrasting textured oak tops for these pieces.
Key Design Features:
The wardrobes are cleverly built into the corner of the room, creating additional space and bringing a nice corner design feature to the room.
Top Tip:
Utilise all the space at the top of the room by having floor to ceiling wardrobes. Floor to ceiling wardrobes also offer more internal fit out options.
Consider your storage requirements, a clothing rail is essential for hanging up items but consider what other things you will keep in your wardrobe; shoes, accessories, hats, perhaps bedding and blankets. You may also need shelving, built in shoe racks and drawers.
