The Brief
This couple had a chest of drawers that they particularly liked in their second bedroom at their home in Newark on Trent, Nottingham. They wanted built in storage to match the chest of drawers. The built in units needed to colour match the existing piece of furniture exactly and they wanted as much storage as possible.
The Solution
The units are from our bespoke Chadwell Smooth range painted in Truffle colour with brushed nickel door handles. The doors are of traditional style. Two double wardrobes were built along one wall built into the slop of the walls. A further unit was built under the window; this is a slim-line unit due to the shape of the room. Both the wardrobe and the built in unit have accents of oak to match the chest of drawers.
Key Design Features
The key design here is the in-house ability that we have to build and colour match to an existing piece of furniture. The units are all bespoke sizes and shapes. The units maximise the efficiency of the space from a storage point of view.
Top Tips
Consider what you are going to store in your wardrobes. You may need more shelving and drawers than hanging rails. Things like dressing tables and desks can even be built in depending on your requirements. A bespoke manufacturer will be able to fit a wardrobe out exactly to your requirements.
